The Government Relations Institute of Canada (GRIC) proudly featured an exclusive event with TIME Person of the Year and “Silence Breaker”, Adama Iwu, together with Canada’s Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Labour, the Honourable Patty Hajdu.
Adama is head of government relations for VISA in the western United States and joined us to tell her story about battling harassment and the opportunities for a positive path forward.
Minister Hajdu is the sponsor of Bill C-65 – legislation currently in front of Parliament which is aimed at curbing workplace harassment and misconduct.
Vassy Kapelos, an award-winning journalist and host of the CBC’s flagship daily political program, Power & Politics, moderated the conversation and subsequent Q&A.
A special thank you to our event sponsors.
