About the Speaker
Kyla Ronellenfitsch is a pollster, data scientist, and entrepreneur who specializes in the intersection of public opinion and technology. She is the founder of Relay Strategies, a full-service polling firm based in Ottawa, where she pioneered the use of texting to conduct qualitative research.
She splits her time at Change Research, a Democratic polling firm based in the US, where she develops new research methodologies and services, all of which are backed by tech and AI.
Prior to these roles, she was a Senior Consultant with the Gandalf Group, leading the polling operations for the 2018 Ontario Liberal campaign.
She holds a Master of Science in Analytics from the University of Chicago, as well as degrees from Carleton University. She is the first alumnus to teach in the Clayton H. Riddell Graduate Program in Political Management, teaching a course she developed on Political Data Management.
